Las Cruces, NM-Patriot players win The Copa Del Rey championship in the under six gold bracket.  The team, coached by Hugo Samano battled hard Saturday and Sunday with no losses.  Under the new direction the Patriots have taken this season, the Patriots Academy emphasizes development at the earlier stages and this tournament really gauges the success that the team coaches, technical director, and staff have put into the academy program.  "I am very proud of the way these kids have developed and at the same time have had fun playing soccer," stated technical director Hugo Samano.  "Youth development at this age is dependent upon having fun and I have truly enjoyed working with this age group."
